What’s New at Liquor Bee: Easier POS Updates + Two-Way E-Commerce Integrations

Running a liquor store means your technology needs to keep up with your business—not slow it down.
That’s why we’ve rolled out several new Liquor Bee POS updates focused on making day-to-day operations easier.
Our latest releases include the new Liquor Bee Updater, along with two-way integrations with Bottlecapps and Liquor Max that bring online orders directly into your Liquor Bee POS.
Here’s what’s new.
Keep Your POS Current with Liquor Bee Updater

Keeping your POS on the latest version shouldn’t require constantly checking whether a new release is available.
Liquor Bee Updater makes that process easier by automatically checking for the latest published Liquor Bee POS release and letting your team know when an update is available.
What Does Liquor Bee Updater Do?
The Updater runs alongside your Liquor Bee POS and helps your store stay current with the latest improvements and fixes.
It can:
Check daily for new releases. The default check time is 10:30 AM Central, or you can select a time that works better for your store.
Show when an update is available. The Updater compares your currently installed POS version against the latest published release.
Simplify downloading updates. When you're ready, the Updater opens the latest POS download while keeping your team in control of when installation happens.
Keep itself current. Liquor Bee Updater can also notify you when a newer version of the Updater itself is available.
Provide setup help. A built-in Watch on YouTube option gives your team quick access to installation and setup instructions.
Getting Started
Install Liquor Bee Updater, open the application, and follow the prompts to enable update reminders.
You can select your preferred daily check time and let the Updater handle checking for new releases.

Your Online Orders Can Now Flow Directly Into Liquor Bee
Online ordering has become another important part of running a modern liquor store.
But when your e-commerce platform and POS don't communicate, online orders can create additional work for your employees.
Someone has to monitor the online ordering platform, find the order, prepare it, communicate that it's ready, and then make sure everything is handled correctly when the customer arrives.
Our new integrations are designed to create a much more connected process.
Liquor Bee now supports two-way integrations with both Bottlecapps and Liquor Max.
Instead of treating your online storefront and physical register as two completely separate systems, online orders can become part of your existing Liquor Bee workflow.
Bottlecapps Two-Way Integration

Liquor Bee now supports a two-way integration with Bottlecapps, connecting orders from your Bottlecapps-powered website or mobile app with your Liquor Bee POS.
When an online order is placed, it can automatically flow into Liquor Bee as an Open Order.
Your employees can then manage that order through the POS.
How the Workflow Works
Your team can:
Receive the online order directly in Liquor Bee
View and manage it as an Open Order
Prepare the customer's order
Mark the order as Ready for Pickup
Pull up the order when the customer arrives
Process and complete the order at the register
The goal is simple: make an online order feel like part of your normal store workflow.
Instead of manually recreating orders or bouncing between disconnected systems, your team can manage the order through Liquor Bee from the time it comes in until the customer picks it up.
Bottlecapps provides e-commerce technology for beer, wine, and spirits retailers, including branded websites, mobile apps, loyalty programs, pickup, and delivery.
Liquor Max Two-Way Integration

We're also introducing a two-way integration between Liquor Bee and Liquor Max.
Orders placed through your Liquor Max-powered website can automatically flow into Liquor Bee as Open Orders, giving your employees a similar workflow directly from the POS.
From Online Order to the Register
With the integration enabled, your team can:
Receive Liquor Max orders directly in Liquor Bee
View and manage them as Open Orders
Prepare the products for the customer
Mark the order as Ready for Pickup
Pull up the order when the customer arrives
Process and complete the transaction at the register
This helps bring online and in-store fulfillment together instead of forcing employees to manage two separate order processes.
Liquor Max provides e-commerce websites for liquor and wine retailers with capabilities including online ordering, in-store pickup, shipping, payments, and product and inventory management.
One POS. More Connected Operations.
These releases are part of a larger goal for Liquor Bee: connect more of the systems liquor retailers use every day through one operating platform.
Liquor Bee Updater makes it easier to keep your POS current.
Our Bottlecapps and Liquor Max integrations help connect e-commerce orders with what your employees are already doing at the register.
And we'll continue building integrations and automation designed around how liquor stores actually operate.
Because your POS shouldn't just ring up transactions.
It should help run your store.
