LiquorBee Announces Wholesale Manager: A New Way for Liquor Stores to Manage B2B Ordering

Sep 7
4 min read

Restaurants, bars, country clubs, retailers, and other permitted businesses can now place orders directly with their liquor store through LiquorBee.

LiquorBee is excited to announce the launch of Wholesale Manager, a new feature designed to transform the way liquor stores manage orders from restaurants, bars, country clubs, retailers, and other permitted businesses.

For the first time, businesses can place orders directly into a liquor store running LiquorBee POS — without calling the store, texting an employee, emailing an order, or sending over a spreadsheet.

And for the liquor store, those orders arrive directly inside the same LiquorBee system employees already use to run the business.

Turn Your Liquor Store Into a Digital Wholesale Marketplace

If you're an existing liquor store running LiquorBee, you can now make your store discoverable through the LiquorBee Wholesale Marketplace.

Restaurants, bars, country clubs, retailers, and other permitted businesses in your area can request to connect with your store.

You stay in control of the relationship.

Once you review and approve the request, that business becomes a linked wholesale customer and can begin submitting orders directly to your location.

Instead of the phone ringing with another wholesale order, the order simply appears at the register.

Wholesale Orders Go Straight to Your POS

When a linked customer submits an order, your employees can navigate to Incoming Orders directly inside LiquorBee POS. From there, they can review the order, adjust quantities or line items when necessary, accept it, and move it through fulfillment.

Orders can be marked Ready for Pickup or Ready for Delivery, giving your staff a simple workflow from the moment an order is submitted until it leaves the store.

Stores can also customize orders by adding delivery fees, additional charges, or other adjustments when needed.

Everything stays in one place.

No handwritten order sheets. No trying to remember what someone said over the phone. No searching through text messages to figure out whether a customer wanted six bottles or six cases.

Your Customers Can Order Online — For Free

For the restaurant, bar, country club, or other business buying from you, the process is even easier.

They can use LiquorBee.com for free to browse and submit orders to linked liquor stores.

Once connected, wholesale buyers can browse the liquor store's live inventory, see actual quantity on hand, view their negotiated pricing, build an order, and submit it online.

Their portal also allows them to see open orders, review previous orders, and manage the liquor stores they're connected with.

Instead of calling:

"Hey, do you have this in stock?"

"What's my price on it?"

"Can you put a case aside for me?"

They can simply log in and order.

Custom Pricing for Every Wholesale Account

Wholesale relationships aren't one-size-fits-all, so Wholesale Manager isn't either.

Liquor stores can establish customer-specific pricing for linked accounts, including pricing based on a discount from retail or a markup over cost.

When the customer logs in, their negotiated pricing is automatically applied while they shop.

Wholesale buyers can even see how much they're saving compared with the store's normal retail pricing.

That means employees don't have to remember special pricing arrangements every time an order comes in — LiquorBee handles it automatically.

Already Take Wholesale Orders by Phone? Keep Doing It.

Wholesale Manager isn't limited to online orders.

If a customer still calls the store or places an order in person, employees can use

Wholesale Manager to place an order on the customer's behalf.

That gives the liquor store one centralized place for wholesale activity regardless of how the order originated.

Online order? It's there.

Phone order? It's there.

Walk-in wholesale customer? Put it there.

The goal is simple: one system for every wholesale relationship and every wholesale order.

Turn Existing Customers Into Recurring B2B Accounts

LiquorBee also helps stores identify existing POS customers who aren't yet connected to a Wholesale Manager account.

That creates an opportunity to turn businesses already shopping at your store into managed, recurring wholesale customers.

Instead of waiting for them to call again next week, invite them to order directly through LiquorBee.

Stores can send an invitation by email with instructions for creating and linking an account.

Businesses can also register themselves by visiting LiquorBee.com, clicking:

"Don't have an account? Register"

and selecting:

"I order through a liquor store."

They can then complete the account creation process and request to connect with a participating liquor store.

From Phone Calls and Text Messages to a Real B2B Sales Channel

For many liquor stores, wholesale business has historically been managed outside the POS.

  • A restaurant texts an employee.

  • A bar calls the store.

  • Someone writes an order down.

  • Another customer emails a spreadsheet.

  • Pricing arrangements have to be remembered manually, and employees have to figure out what's actually available before confirming the order.

Wholesale Manager turns those informal transactions into a real B2B sales channel.

Liquor stores get:

  • Online ordering directly from their commercial customers

  • Real-time inventory availability

  • Customer-specific wholesale pricing

  • Incoming order management

  • Pickup and delivery workflows

  • Delivery fees and additional charges

  • Order editing and quantity adjustments

  • Payment-link capabilities

  • Wholesale customer invitations

  • Open-order and order-history tracking

  • Centralized management of wholesale relationships

And the restaurant or business gets a dramatically easier way to buy.

Wholesale Manager Is Available Through LiquorBee

Wholesale Manager brings the liquor store and its commercial customers into the same ecosystem.

The liquor store gets a more efficient way to manage and grow wholesale relationships.

The restaurant, bar, country club, retailer, or other permitted business gets a faster way to see what's available and place orders.

And both sides spend less time calling, texting, checking inventory, confirming pricing, and manually entering orders.

The liquor store already has the inventory. The customers already need to order it. LiquorBee now connects the two.

Ready to Get Started?

Existing LiquorBee POS customers can begin using Wholesale Manager to invite and manage wholesale customers.

Restaurants, bars, country clubs, retailers, and other eligible businesses can visit LiquorBee.com, select "Don't have an account? Register," and choose "I order through a liquor store" to get started.
